The Deep Blue SL03 is the first model launched since Changan's high-end brand was established. It is also a great challenge for Changan, a traditional automobile manufacturer, to make its debut in the high-end vehicle segment. The fuel cell version of the Changan SL03 is to be launched soon. It is basically identical in appearance to the upcoming pure electric version, differing only in the powertrain system. Changan Deep Blue stated that this will be China's first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell sedan, priced starting from only RMB 200,000.

In terms of power, the hydrogen energy version is one of the biggest highlights of this model. The new car will be equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell system with a maximum power output of 160 kW. In the power-depleted state, the vehicle’s 100 km hydrogen consumption is as low as 0.65 kg, the comprehensive working condition cruising range can reach 700 km, and the 0-100 km/h acceleration only takes 4.5 seconds. It is worth mentioning that the refueling can be completed in about 3 minutes.
